Well, start with just turning off the lights. Lights that are on, but no one is in the room using the light is money going out of your wallet and wasting energy. I read that lights is about 12% of the home’s energy bills. So start going green by turning off the lights that are not needed than advance up. Make it a family rule the last one out of the room turns the lights off.

As we were watching a movie one night I looked around and noticed we were saving energy.   As a family we were all in one room and no lights, radios or televisions were on in the other rooms.  I felt pretty good that not only was we together as a family but we were being good to Mother Earth.
